Simplotel Is a Shopify For Hotels, Was Founded In October 2013 And Is Funded By Go-MMT - Indias Largest Online Travel OverviewThe CTO/ VP of Engineering will be responsible for leading the technology and engineering agenda of Simplotel.This position requires a visionary leader who can drive innovation, manage complex engineering projects, and lead a team of engineers to deliver world-class products and solutions.The role involves close collaboration with other departments to ensure that the technology infrastructure supports the companys overall goals.

Responsibilities

• Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing engineering team, promoting a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Serve as the technical expert, designing and architecting scalable solutions while leveraging modern technologies to enhance productivity, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
• Ensure optimal performance and high availability of our SaaS software, with effective management of live site operations.
• Implement and enforce engineering processes, including design reviews, code reviews, and the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Oversee software development projects, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery while identifying and mitigating risks.
• Own and optimize infrastructure costs, ensuring efficient use of resources.
• Manage operational requests from other teams, addressing their productivity needs and ensuring alignment with internal requirements.
• Present technology vision and architectural strategies to customers, investors, and both internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience in driving Product Management is a desirable plus.
  

Requirements

• Bachelors degree or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Experience: Minimum of 12 years of experience in software engineering and technology leadership roles
• Strong technical background with expertise in software development, architecture
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
• Ability to think strategically and translate business goals into actionable engineering plans
