Silicon Validation Engineer 2

As a Silicon Design Validation Engineer at Lattice, you will be part of a dynamic and enthusiastic community of engineers, designers, and manufacturing operations specialists dedicated to developing cutting-edge programmable logic solutions. Your role will involve validating building blocks in FPGA on the board level to ensure functionality and performance align with design intent. You will have the opportunity to work with various IPs including SERDES, Memory DDR, DPHY, PLL, DSP, Fabric, and I/O. Additionally, you will gain exposure to advanced equipment, boards, and software tools. **Key Responsibilities:** - Validate and characterize various IPs from silicon arrival to production release - Develop validation and characterization plans, test logic RTL, and drive new silicon product bring-up - Collaborate with design, verification, manufacturing, test, quality, and marketing teams - Support customer issues post product release **Qualifications Required:** - 2+ years of experience in Silicon Design Validation - Electrical Engineering degree with a focus on FPGA and silicon validation - Knowledge of High-Speed Serdes Interface characterization and protocol compliance testing - Familiarity with high-speed board design and signal integrity evaluation - Proficiency in Verilog/VHDL, FPGA development tools, and test automation using Python, Perl - Understanding of statistical analysis concepts and tools like JMP, R - Experience with bench equipment for device characterization and FPGA emulation/prototyping - Strong written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional collaboration - Self-motivated, proactive, with critical thinking and strong problem-solving skills Join Lattice's innovative team and contribute to groundbreaking projects while developing your career in Silicon Design Validation Engineering.,
