Job Description

You will play a crucial role in defining, developing, and optimizing tools and methodologies for FPGA silicon validation and software enablement. Your responsibilities will include creating and enhancing tools for FPGA silicon validation, IP, software, and integration, as well as delivering continuous improvements to silicon validation environments and methodologies. You will be involved in developing lab-based test environments and synthetic test content to characterize and test functionality, performance, and power, ensuring their qualification for product release. Applying various hardware and software tools and techniques, you will work on ensuring functional coverage and debugging issues. Debugging and resolving silicon bring-up issues, documenting solutions, and troubleshooting from prototype to production will be a key part of your role. Collaboration with cross-functional teams such as architecture, design, software, firmware, and tools teams is essential to seamlessly integrate validation and debugging tools. Researching, designing, developing, and optimizing software tools enabling the use of FPGAs will also be a significant aspect of your responsibilities. Staying updated on the latest trends and technologies in ML, AI, and post-silicon validation is crucial. Additionally, you will be involved in developing system-level programming and firmware closely coupled to FPGA silicon, IP, and boards. Your problem-solving skills will be put to the test to contribute to innovative solutions enhancing validation and debugging processes. Responding to customer/client requests or events and documenting technical specifications and project progress will be part of your duties. To qualify for this role, you should hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent. With 12+ years of relevant experience, including at least 4 years in a leadership position, you should have strong expertise in developing system/embedded and debug tools. Proficiency in C, C++, and Python programming languages is required, along with hands-on experience in hardware and software debugging. A solid understanding of design principles and data structures is essential, and exposure or expertise in Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) is preferred. Strong analytical, problem-solving, team collaboration, and communication skills are also necessary for this role. This is a regular job located in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, with Shift 1 (India) as the primary shift. Please note that the above information is subject to change and may be updated as needed.,
