Role Overview: As a Sign Language Interpreter at Samarthanam Trust for the Disabled, your primary role will be to facilitate communication between deaf individuals and others by translating spoken language into sign language and vice versa. You will play a crucial part in ensuring clear communication for all parties involved, working in settings such as educational institutions, healthcare facilities, and community events in Coimbatore. Your daily tasks will include interpreting, translating, understanding deaf culture, and working closely with clients to support their communication needs effectively.
