Job Summary: The Skilled Sign Board Fabricator/Installer will be a key member of our production team, responsible for the hands-on creation and installation of various types of sign boards. This role requires a strong understanding of machinery, a steady hand for detailed work like welding and letter raising, and the physical ability to safely and professionally install signage at client sites. Key Responsibilities: Machine Operation: Safely and efficiently operate various factory machinery, including but not limited to CNC routers, laser cutters, and sheet metal benders. Welding and Fabrication: Perform precise welding (e.g., TIG, MIG) on a variety of materials to construct sign board frames and structures. Letter Raising: Execute detailed letter raising and assembly, ensuring a high level of craftsmanship and adherence to design specifications. Sign Board Installation: Work on-site to install finished sign boards, which may include using power tools, working at heights, and ensuring proper electrical connections (where applicable). Quality Control: Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy before installation. Safety Adherence: Strictly follow all company safety protocols and procedures for both factory and on-site work. Team Collaboration: Work effectively with the production team, project managers, and clients to ensure timely project completion. Qualifications: Proven experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment, preferably in the signage industry. Proficiency in operating fabrication machinery. Demonstrated experience with welding techniques and metal fabrication. Experience with letter raising and detailed assembly work is highly desirable. Knowledge of and experience with sign board installation procedures. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and project blueprints. A valid driver's license is required for on-site installations. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry heavy materials. Comfortable working at heights using ladders or lifts. Stamina for standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks. Manual dexterity for detailed fabrication and assembly work. This is a physically demanding role that may involve exposure to noise, dust, and outdoor weather conditions.
