As a Shopify Lead Developer (Team Lead eCommerce Projects), you will play a crucial role in building high-performing eCommerce stores while also leading and mentoring a small development team. Your technical expertise in Shopify and dedication to delivering exceptional online experiences will be highly valued in this role. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and guide a team of Shopify developers and designers to deliver top-quality eCommerce solutions. - Develop, customize, and optimize Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. - Oversee store setup, app integrations, and performance optimization. - Ensure high-quality code delivery, version control, and adherence to project timelines. - Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure clear communication and project alignment. - Provide technical leadership, troubleshooting, and mentorship to the team. Requirements: - Minimum 4 years of hands-on Shopify development experience. - Proficiency in Shopify Liquid, metafields, JSON templates, and dynamic sections. - Strong background in custom theme development and Figma to Shopify conversions. - Demonstrated experience in team leadership or coordination. - In-depth understanding of Shopify apps, APIs, and performance best practices. - Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Skills (Good to Have): - Experience with Shopify Plus or headless builds (Hydrogen / Next.js). - Knowledge of SEO and CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization). - Familiarity with Git, Trello, Asana, or similar project management tools.
