As they scale their technical capabilities in India, they're looking to hire a highly skilled and proactive Shopify Developer to join their team in Kolkata. About the Role: As a Shopify Developer, you'll work closely with design, marketing, and client teams to build, customize, and maintain Shopify-based websites. This role involves developing scalable and responsive Shopify themes, integrating third-party apps and APIs, and optimizing user experience and site performance. Key Responsibilities: Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify themes using front-end and back-end best practices Collaborate with design and marketing teams to implement UI/UX enhancements and custom features Optimize websites for SEO, performance, and responsive behavior Configure and integrate third-party tools, APIs, and apps to expand functionality Troubleshoot and resolve issues across multiple Shopify storefronts Translate business needs into scalable technical solutions Build and maintain custom Shopify apps or functionalities when required Stay current with emerging trends and best practices in Shopify and eCommerce Support and mentor team members, maintaining code quality standards Must-Have Qualifications: 34 years of hands-on Shopify development experience Proficiency in Shopify theme customization, Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript Experience with Shopify Hydrogen and Oxygen frameworks Experience with Shopify APIs and app integrations Strong understanding of responsive and mobile-first development Familiarity with Git/GitHub and version control workflows Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple projects independently Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Shopify Plus and headless commerce architecture Custom app development using Node.js or similar frameworks Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field Experience working on international eCommerce projects Why Join This Role?
