Ship Administrator Associate / Senior Associate

Role Overview: As a Ship Administrator Associate/Senior Associate in Bangalore, you will be responsible for managing various shipping processes and ensuring compliance with trade regulations and company policies. Your role will involve interacting with carriers, freight forwarders, and internal departments to coordinate shipments and address any related inquiries or issues. Key Responsibilities: - Verify import shipping documents and ensure compliance with trade regulations and company policies - Coordinate with warehouse, logistics providers, and internal departments - Handle inquiries related to shipments, delays, and tracking - Track multiple orders, shipment numbers, and deadlines simultaneously - Prioritize shipments based on deadlines or customer importance - Manage high-volume workloads in fast-paced environments - Address shipping delays, lost goods, damaged freight, etc. - Coordinate for the opening of Letter of Credit with banks and process changes for already opened LCs - Respond to customer or client inquiries professionally - Coordinate delivery schedules and keep stakeholders informed - Utilize Transport Management Systems (TMS) or shipping software - Utilize strong Microsoft Office skills - Be flexible to work in shifts Qualifications Required: - 2-4 years of experience as a Ship Administrator - Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field - Familiarity with shipping processes, incoterms, customs, documentation, and freight terms - Experience with carriers, freight forwarders, and courier services Additional Details: - The industry type for this role is ITES/BPO/KPO - Employment type is full-time and permanent - Key skills required include customs, documentation, freight forwarders, and shipping processes Please note the Job Code for this position is GO/JC/466/2025, and the Recruiter Name is Hemalatha.,
