Primary Function The Instrument and Electrical Maintenance Technician is responsible for supporting the maintenance and repair services of all instruments, control systems, electrical equipment and/or process analyzers at the facility. As a support service provider, this role requires the ability to successfully collaborate across multiple departments. Duties & Responsibilities Employee may be called upon to perform any or all of the following functions: Develop the scope of each work order. Procure all required material, outside contract services, rental equipment and specialized tools to include emphasis on all the requirements of company specification and PSM programs. Coordinates and performs repairs of instrument and electrical systems throughout the plants. Meets daily with production, engineering and management personnel to review work orders for instrument and electrical repairs. Provide responsive maintenance services to the site by completing scheduled work orders. Proactively inspects operating areas making note of needed repairs. Provide guidance to contract maintenance and construction projects, as assigned. Calibrates and trouble shoots systems using drawings, field inspections, system readings, and input from other departments.
