Job Description

As the Operations Manager at our company, reporting to the Roster Coordinator, your primary responsibility will be managing the operations of the service delivery teams, specifically the Care Workers Scheduling, to ensure timely services are delivered to our participants. Your role is crucial in fostering high-quality, commercially viable, safe, and individualized care for our growing disability client base. Key Responsibilities: - Coordinate Operations: Oversee and coordinate activities during the assigned shift. - Ensure all staff are logged in properly. - Address any missed logins promptly. - Workflow Management: Ensure a seamless workflow and address any disruptions promptly. - Shift Planning: Develop and manage shift schedules, ensuring adequate staffing levels. Identify any vacant shifts for the current and next day. - Staff Allocation: Assign tasks and responsibilities to staff members based on skills and workload. - Communication Hub: Serve as a central point of communication between team members and other departments. - Review and respond to unread messages and missed calls from staff. - Address staff pull-outs from shifts, update the care master, and notify the team. - Follow-up with support workers for timely logout and case notes if there are any pending timesheets. - Collaborate with various departments to understand staffing requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives. - Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of employee availability, time-off requests, and work preferences. - Notify the Service Coordinator of any cancellations, late starts, or changes in supports. - Ensure that schedules comply with labor laws, company policies, and any relevant industry regulations. - Complete all the required trainings and read/understand all the resources provided. Qualifications Required: - Proven experience in operations management or a similar role. - Strong organizational and communication skills. - Ability to work under pressure and address issues promptly. - Knowledge of labor laws and industry regulations. - Proficiency in scheduling and workflow management software.
