Sheet Laser Cutting Machine Operator

You will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining laser cutting machines used for sheet metal processing at Safety Projects Pvt Ltd in Umargam. As a Sheet Laser Cutting Machine Operator, you will need to have hands-on experience with CNC laser machinery, CAD/CAM software, and a strong commitment to precision, quality, and workplace safety. Your key responsibilities will include setting up and operating laser cutting machines, loading and unloading raw materials with accuracy, choosing appropriate laser parameters, and using CAD/CAM software to program parts. You will also be responsible for inspecting finished parts, monitoring machine operations, performing maintenance tasks, troubleshooting machine faults, and ensuring safety compliance. To qualify for this position, you should have a high school diploma or equivalent, with a technical diploma or CNC certification preferred. A minimum of 1-3 years of experience operating laser cutting or CNC machines is required. You should have a strong mechanical and technical aptitude, proficiency in reading engineering drawings, experience with CAD/CAM software and CNC programming, and keen attention to detail. Additionally, you should possess good troubleshooting and analytical skills, the ability to work independently or as part of a team, and be physically fit to lift/carry up to 50 pounds. Prior experience with personal protective equipment, G-code programming, workplace safety practices, precision measurement tools, and maintenance will be beneficial in this role.
