Sharepoint Developers

Position Summary

We are looking for a skilled SharePoint Developer with 35 years of hands-on experience in developing, customizing, maintaining SharePoint environments and specializing in designing and developing document repository portals with a custom front end. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing SharePoint solutions, managing permissions, automating workflows, and ensuring seamless collaboration across teams. This role requires both technical expertise and strong coordination skills to support business and IT initiatives effectively.

Strategic Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain SharePoint sites, libraries, and lists.
• Customize SharePoint solutions using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and REST APIs.
• Manage SharePoint permissions, access controls, and content governance.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Support SharePoint migrations, upgrades, and integrations with other systems.
• Monitor SharePoint performance and ensure data integrity and security.
• Provide user training and support for SharePoint features and best practices.

Required Experience:

• 3–5 years of experience in SharePoint Online and SharePoint 2016/2019.
• Strong knowledge of SharePoint architecture, site collections, and content management.
• Proven experience in

  creating document repository portals on SharePoint Online

  with custom front-end design and functionality.
• Experience with SharePoint Designer, InfoPath, and customization using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and REST APIs.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 environment and Azure Active Directory.

• Good to have:

  Python knowledge, especially for API creation and integration.
• Understanding of SharePoint migration tools (e.g., ShareGate, Metalogix).
• Basic knowledge of SQL Server and scripting languages is a plus.
