Setter Operator

You have been invited to join Alcom Extrusions Pvt Ltd as a Setter for the mechanical manufacturing team. With 4 to 6 years of experience in the field, your main responsibility will be the setup and maintenance of machinery to ensure smooth production processes. Your expertise will play a crucial role in enhancing efficiency and maintaining quality standards. - Set up, adjust, and maintain production machinery and tooling to optimize performance. - Interpret engineering drawings accurately to ensure precise machine setup. - Conduct pre-production machine inspections and perform necessary tooling changes, adjustments, and calibrations. - Utilize troubleshooting skills to minimize downtime in case of issues with machines and equipment. - Collaborate with the production team to schedule and optimize machine operations. - Conduct regular preventive maintenance on machines and tools to ensure longevity and uphold production quality. - Monitor work in progress and maintain accurate records of machine settings, tool changes, and production output to uphold quality standards and specifications. - ITI certification in Fitter, Turner, or related trades with a background as a Setter. - Comprehensive understanding of reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical manuals. - Strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and experience with various mechanical manufacturing machinery. - Ability to adhere to safety practices and procedures in a manufacturing environment. - Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting.
