Job Description

We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced ServiceNow Team Leader to manage a small team of developers dedicated to delivering innovative solutions and best practices within the ServiceNow platform.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of core ServiceNow applications, including IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Asset Management (ITAM), and IT Operations Management (ITOM),

while

effectively leading and mentoring team members.

Any gaps in this knowledge can be filled with additional training and support.The ServiceNow Team Leader will serve as the primary point

of contact for escalations

and work collaboratively with team members and other SN teams to

promote ITSM best practices across

the organization/client. The candidate should also have the confidence to

refer requirements back for clarification if needed and demonstrate solutions

to our clients upon completion if required.This role would ideally suit someone who comes from a

development background and has at least five years working as a developer

/team leader on the ServiceNow platform.

This person must be able to manage a small team of developers in an Agile methodology, manage work assignments across the team including incidents, requests and ad-hoc stories as well as ensuring the team adhere to SLA management and incident management processes

.

The recruit will have the opportunity to shape an existing and growing ServiceNow Platform team.

Critical Skills

  • Extremely competent in software development languages and techniques
  • Excellent ServiceNow knowledge in one or more of these areas: ITSM, ITAM, ITOM, ITBM, CSM, HRSD
  • Excellent understanding of the ServiceNow platform administration
  • Ability to configure the ServiceNow platform to the needs of the customer
  • The ability to understand and write client and server side Javascript code on the ServiceNow platform
  • Fully conversant in Agile framework including story estimation & sprint planning
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills, customer centric attitude, ability to deal with cultural diversity
  • Team player and team builder with excellent communication skills.
  • Strong ownership, accountability, and attention to detail in all work efforts

Familiarity with ITIL methodology and procedures
