Job Description

As an Integration Developer at Royal Cyber, you will be responsible for implementing a proof of concept (POC) that integrates Twilio with ServiceNow's On-Call Scheduling module for automated voice and SMS notifications. Your role will involve designing, configuring, and demonstrating an end-to-end workflow to replace PagerDuty's paging mechanism using Twilio APIs and ServiceNow integration capabilities. Key Responsibilities: - Configure and customize ServiceNow On-Call Schedule module, including shift rosters, escalation rules, and assignment groups. - Develop integration between ServiceNow Incident Management and Twilio APIs for automated: - Voice calls to on-call engineers. - SMS notifications for incident alerts and escalations. - Implement acknowledgment logic to respond via call/text and update ServiceNow incident. - Set up API authentication, error handling, and logging mechanisms. - Collaborate closely with functional leads (Priyanka, Edwin, Raj) to validate use cases and test data. - Document setup, API flows, and provide a demo-ready configuration for the POC. Qualifications Required: - Minimum of 3-6 years of hands-on development experience with ServiceNow, including Incident Management, Integrations, Notifications, and Scripting. - Proven experience in integrating ServiceNow with external APIs such as REST/SOAP, OAuth, and webhooks. - Strong understanding of Twilio Programmable Messaging and Programmable Voice APIs, including API keys, callback events, and message flows. - Proficiency in JavaScript, GlideScript, and Flow Designer within ServiceNow. - Familiarity with ServiceNow IntegrationHub, MID Server, and REST API Explorer. - Experience in setting up on-call schedules, rosters, and escalation chains in ServiceNow ITSM. - Knowledge of incident lifecycle management and major incident workflows. - Strong troubleshooting and communication skills to collaborate across functional and technical teams. Deliverables: - Configured On-Call Schedule module. - Integrated ServiceNow-Twilio API connection for calls and SMS. - Acknowledgment and escalation logic working end-to-end. - Demo walkthrough and technical documentation.
