ServiceNow Engineer - Incident Management

As a ServiceNow SecOps Vulnerability Response SME, you will play a crucial role in implementing and customizing ServiceNow Security Operations modules, specifically focusing on Vulnerability Response and Configuration Compliance. Your responsibilities will include: - Implementing and customizing ServiceNow Security Operations modules, with a strong emphasis on Vulnerability Response and Configuration Compliance. - Developing catalog items, record producers, workflows, and service requests within the ServiceNow platform. - Configuring integrations with vulnerability scanning tools and external systems to enhance security operations. - Automating processes using scripting and ServiceNow Orchestration to streamline operations. - Maintaining and manipulating data between ServiceNow and other systems for seamless information flow. - Monitoring application health, compliance, and usage to ensure optimal performance. - Performing system and integration testing, as well as leading troubleshooting efforts when needed. - Collaborating with clients to analyze their environments and recommend optimal solutions for their security operations. To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and experience: - Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in ServiceNow SecOps, particularly in Vulnerability Response. - Expertise in ServiceNow ITSM modules such as Incident, Problem, Change, CMDB, and Asset management. - Strong knowledge of CMDB, Discovery, and external integrations to enhance security operations. - Proficiency in Glide, Jelly Scripting, JavaScript, HTML, XML, and AJAX for efficient customization within ServiceNow. - Experience with REST/SOAP integrations, web UI development, and relational databases. - Agile methodology experience is essential for adapting to dynamic project requirements. - Ability to engage in client discussions, understand their requirements, and provide valuable recommendations. - ServiceNow Certified Application Developer certification is preferred to showcase your proficiency.
