Position Purpose Provide a brief description of the overall purpose of the position, why this position exists and how it will contribute in achieving the teams goal. The team requires a dynamic member who can work as a skilled DEVOPS Developer for various complex Automation tasks along with performing Build & Deployment and Environment maintenance activities of strategic applications of the Bank. The associate will be responsible for high availability of applications in all Non-Prod environments along with building and implementing industrialized automation solutions. The associate should have deep knowledge of DevOps framework and should be interested to adopt latest DevOps tools and learn on the job. The associate should be flexible to work in shifts and support Production deployments over weekends. The associate should be able to handle more than one application support activity with client focus and effective stakeholder management Responsibilities Direct Responsibilities Work effectively as DEVOPS Developer to automate complex tasks Identify automation opportunities and implement industrialized solutions Ensure high availability of all Non-Prod environments & perform BAU as and when required Develop and enhance the DevOps/DevSecOps pipeline for existing and new applications Act as a team player as well as SME to support peers to provide solution & support Drive various automation initiatives with effective stakeholder management Contributing Responsibilities Update Knowledge base document to keep it up to the mark. Participate in cross-training with team to gain and share knowledge. Support peers in completing BAU & project tasks. Build backup SMEs in the team for self sufficiency Technical & Behavioral Competencies Key Tools and Technologies for us: Should be good in below with hands-on: Operating System Linux/Unix, Windows SCM Git/Bitbucket, TFS/Azure Devops (At least 1) CI Jenkins, Azure Devops/TFS (At least 1) Build Tools Maven, Gradle, Ant, NPM, NuGet, Liquibase (At least 3) Repository Jfrog Artifactory, Nexus (At least 1) IAC (Infra as Code) Terraform Scripting Ansible, Python, Shell, Groovy, PowerShell (At least any 3) Containers/Servers Docker, Kubernetes, IIS, Tomcat, Apache, JBoss, Nginx, WebSphere (Min. 3) Database SQL/PL-SQL (Basics), NoSQL (Basics) Database Server (Basics) Oracle, MS-SQL, Mongo, Postgres (At least 2) Observability Monitoring ELK (Intermediate), Grok config, Grafana (Basics), Dynatrace (Basics) Quality & Security (Basics) Sonar, NexusIQ, Fortify Troubleshooting Strong troubleshooting skills Good to have (Basics) MQ, Kafka, Java, Selenium Must be able to work effectively as DEVOPS Developer on the mentioned technologies and implement complex end to end automation solution. Should have strong knowledge of working on cloud platforms with hand-on experience with IaaS, PaaS, SaaS Must be able to understand application and server logs and should have strong troubleshooting skills Even if the candidate does not have experience on all tools, candidate will need to be strong in the key tools and will be expected to pick up the tools on the job. Should be an expert in configuring alerts using mentioned monitoring tools. Good to have skills: Prometheus and Grafana Must have experience in writing at least 3 (Ansible/Python/PowerShell/Groovy/Shell scripting) Should have basic knowledge of writing SQL queries/scripts and basic error codes. Very good understanding of Agile development/release model Web or application programming background and good knowledge around Java/J2EE applications.
