Job Description

As a Service Now Lead Developer, you will be responsible for leading ServiceNow development efforts across various modules such as ITSM, HRSD, and FSM. Your role will involve coordinating platform transitions, implementing automations, ensuring stakeholder alignment, and reporting on metrics. You will lead ServiceNow knowledge transfer sessions, conduct system audits, and enforce configuration governance to maintain the platform's integrity. Additionally, you will design and optimize catalog items, forms, and access roles to enhance user experience and operational efficiency. Collaborating with HR, Facilities, and IT teams, you will work on cross-functional workflows to streamline service delivery processes and identify automation opportunities. Monitoring module usage, ticket SLAs, and workflow effectiveness will be crucial to your responsibilities, ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with business objectives. In this role, you will also be responsible for ensuring platform readiness for audits and stakeholder updates, as well as liaising with vendors for support and roadmap planning to drive platform enhancements and innovation. To be successful in this position, you should have a minimum of 7 years of experience in developing the ServiceNow platform across various modules. Deep knowledge of ServiceNow Flow Designer, business rules, client/server scripts, and ACLs is essential. Proficiency in creating and managing catalog items, approval workflows, dynamic forms, and SLAs is required. Experience in integrating ServiceNow with third-party systems, setting up metrics for ticket volumes, deflection rates, module usage, and SLA performance is also necessary. Demonstrated expertise in leading ServiceNow instance upgrades, patch management, and clone processes is expected. Familiarity with domain separation, scoped apps, data import/export sets, and UI policies will be beneficial. Strong stakeholder engagement skills, including collaborating with HR, IT, and Facilities to define and streamline service workflows, are essential for this role. A proven track record in preparing for audits, managing compliance documentation, and training L1/L2 teams will be advantageous.
