Service Manager (IT Hardware)

Role Overview: As an IT Support Manager, you will be responsible for managing and leading the IT support team to ensure the smooth operation of IT services. Your role will involve overseeing the resolution of technical issues, developing and implementing IT support policies, and monitoring system performance to ensure compliance with industry standards. Working closely with other departments, you will understand their IT needs and provide timely and effective solutions to technical problems. Additionally, you will be responsible for training and mentoring IT support staff, managing IT support budgets and resources, and ensuring the security and integrity of IT systems. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee the resolution of technical issues - Develop and implement IT support policies and procedures - Work closely with other departments to understand their IT needs - Provide timely and effective solutions to technical problems - Train and mentor IT support staff - Manage IT support budgets and resources - Ensure the security and integrity of IT systems - Coordinate with external vendors and service providers - Prepare and present reports on IT support activities - Implement and manage IT support tools and software - Conduct regular performance reviews of IT support staff - Develop and maintain IT support documentation - Handle escalated IT support issues - Plan and execute IT support projects - Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures Qualifications Required: - Proven experience in IT support management - Strong knowledge of industry trends and technologies - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to handle escalated IT support issues - Project management skills - Familiarity with IT support tools and software - Understanding of IT security and compliance standards (Note: The company offers benefits such as internet reimbursement and provident fund.
