Service Floor Supervisor – Honda 2-Wheeler

Job Overview:

The Service Floor Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities on the service floor. This role ensures that the service bay functions smoothly, with all vehicles serviced efficiently and in accordance with Honda's quality standards. The Service Floor Supervisor is tasked with overseeing the work of technicians and mechanics, managing the workflow, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction through quality service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Service Floor Operations:
• Supervise daily operations on the service floor, ensuring smooth workflow.
• Ensure that all vehicles are serviced and repaired in a timely manner.
• Assign work orders to mechanics and technicians based on their skills and workload.
• Monitor the work being performed to ensure compliance with Honda’s service standards.
• Quality Control:
• Inspect completed repairs and services to ensure they meet Honda’s quality requirements.
• Ensure that all repairs are performed using the correct methods, tools, and parts.
• Identify any recurring issues and recommend solutions to improve service quality.
• Team Supervision & Training:
• Supervise and coordinate the work of technicians and support staff.
• Provide on-the-job training to technicians, ensuring they are up-to-date with the latest service techniques.
• Foster a culture of teamwork and ensure efficient communication between staff members.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to the team.
• Customer Service:
• Collaborate with the Service Advisors to ensure that customer expectations are met.
• Address any concerns from customers related to service work and resolve complaints.
• Ensure customer vehicles are serviced properly and delivered on time.
• Health, Safety, and Cleanliness:
• Ensure that the service floor is kept clean and well-organized.
• Enforce safety regulations, making sure all technicians and support staff adhere to safety protocols.
• Inspect tools and equipment regularly to ensure they are in good working condition.
• Coordination & Communication:
• Communicate with the Workshop Incharge regarding ongoing service tasks, parts requirements, and any challenges faced on the service floor.
• Assist in managing inventory of spare parts and equipment, ensuring timely restocking of commonly used items.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Technical Knowledge: Strong knowledge of 2-wheeler repair, maintenance, and diagnostics, particularly for Honda models.
• Leadership Skills: Ability to supervise and motivate a team of technicians and mechanics.
• Problem Solving: Proactive in identifying issues on the service floor and implementing solutions.
• Customer Focus: Commitment to delivering high-quality service and resolving customer issues effectively.
• Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to coordinate between team members and customers.
• Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage workloads efficiently, and ensure timely service delivery.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education: Diploma/Graduate in Automobile/Mechanical Engineering or any relevant field.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory role in the 2-wheeler automotive service sector.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with Honda service standards and processes is preferred.
• Computer Skills: Proficient in using workshop management software and basic office applications (MS Word, Excel).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
