Service Engineer - SPM Machines

We are a leading Manufacturer of a high-quality range of Transformer HV Coil Winding Machines, LV Winding Machines, Stator Winding Machines, Strip Winding Machines, etc. These products are admired for their high performance, optimum functionality and perfectly designed.. We work for 6 days of week candidates preferred with immediate joining, Salaries to be paid as per their skill set/experience.

Service Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation & Commissioning

• Install and commission coil winding and SPM machines at customer locations.
• Productionize the Coils for optimal performance.

• Troubleshooting & Maintenance

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and software faults on machines.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance as per schedules.
• Provide remote or on-site support to resolve customer issues.

• Customer Training & Support

• Train operators and maintenance personnel on machine operation and maintenance.
• Provide technical documentation and service reports.

• Coordination & Reporting

• Coordinate with the design and production teams for feedback and improvements.
• Document all service activities and prepare detailed reports.
• Report recurring issues for product improvement.

• Travel

• Travel to domestic and occasional international client sites as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Mechanical Engineering.
• 25 years of experience in servicing coil winding machines, automation systems, or SPMs.
• Strong understanding of PLCs (e.g., Siemens, Mitsubishi), HMIs, servo systems, and control panels.
• Knowledge of electrical wiring, circuit diagrams, and mechanical assemblies.
• Good communication skills for customer interaction and training.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with CNC systems or custom machine tools.
• Familiarity with pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Basic programming/debugging of PLC logic.
• Knowledge of safety standards and practices.

Work Environment:

• Field service role with frequent travel.
• Factory floor environments and industrial settings.
