Role & responsibilities As a Servicece Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting our clients by: Installing PCB manufacturing machines at customer sites. Providing operational training to customers. Performing troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and repairs both onsite and remotely. Collaborating with the in-house technical team for complex issues. Ensuring minimal machine downtime and maximum customer satisfaction. This is a hybrid position, combining office-based support (technical documentation, remote troubleshooting, spare parts coordination) with on-site customer visits for installation, repair, and training. Diagnose and repair electrical, and mechanical faults in machinery such as AOI, AVI, BBT Testers, Inkjet Printers, and CNC machines. Perform calibration, testing, and quality checks on installed systems. Train customer staff on operational best practices. Maintain accurate service records and generate reports. Provide feedback to R&D on recurring issues for machine improvements. Preferred candidate profile Educational Background: Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering. Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of electronics industry equipment, including inspection systems, testing machines. Knowledge of electrical circuits, electronics and PLC-controlled systems. Experience in calibration, alignment, and high-precision equipment handling. Hands-on Skills: Ability to work with servo/stepper motors, sensors, drives, and testing software. Software Competency: Familiarity with Windows-based machine interfaces, understanding of computer hardware (basic) and diagnostic software. Other Requirements: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication skills for customer training. Willingness to travel frequently for site visits in North India region mostly. Ability to work independently under pressure.
