Validate machine parameters, calibrate sensors, and optimize machine performance.

2. Troubleshooting & Repairs

Handle complex electrical, electronic, mechanical, and software-related issues.
Guide junior engineers in diagnosing and resolving issues.
Escalate high-level technical concerns to R&D when required.

3. Preventive & Predictive Maintenance

Plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules at client sites.
Identify potential failures and recommend corrective actions.

4. Customer Training & Support

Train customer operators and maintenance teams on machine operation and daily care.
Provide professional technical support and ensure customer satisfaction.

5. Documentation & Reporting

Prepare service reports, commissioning reports, and preventive maintenance entries.
Maintain service call logs, spare usage records, and feedback forms.

6. Team Coordination & Leadership

Mentor field service engineers and trainees.
Coordinate with the service coordinator, spares team, and regional manager.

7. Compliance & Safety

Ensure adherence to company safety guidelines and site safety norms.
Follow machine handling standards and quality procedures.

Key Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of electromechanical systems, sensors, and industrial automation
Experience with color sorting/optical sorting machines (preferred)
Hands-on troubleshooting capability
Understanding of PLCs, cameras, lighting systems (added advantage)
Excellent communication and customer handling
Decision-making and leadership skills
Ability to travel extensively (6080%)
