Service Engineer - OLTC/Bushings

As a Service Engineer for Hitachi Energy's Transformers Business in Halol, India, you will play a crucial role in delivering expert service for critical and advanced transformer components. Your responsibilities will include executing all Field Service Activities efficiently and precisely, adhering strictly to Hitachi Energy's Field Quality Plan, Contract Specifications, and Safety & Quality Standards. By leveraging your expertise, you will contribute to optimal performance, minimal downtime, and enhanced reliability to ensure customers receive the highest level of technical support. Your impact will be significant in the following areas: - Technical contribution to the planning and implementation of field services, including problem identification and support activities at the site. - Performing medium to high complex service tasks independently, such as issue identification, maintenance, upgrades, retrofits, and repairs. - Planning and controlling overall site field service activities while meeting deadlines and customer expectations. - Conducting risk and opportunity assessments to ensure the successful implementation of field service plans. - Coordinating with customers for site activities and identifying new sales opportunities. - Proactively troubleshooting potential equipment failures and recommending corrective actions to avoid future problems. - Coordinating with overseas factories to resolve customer complaints and improve product quality and customer service. To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications: - Engineering/Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in transformer components & transformers, including problem identification, installation, testing, commissioning, maintenance, and upgrades. - Valid driving license with no travel restrictions. - Proficiency in both spoken and written English language.
