SERVICE ENGINEER

L&T Construction and Mining Machinery is seeking a Service Engineer in Salem, Tamil Nadu. As a Service Engineer at L&T Construction and Mining Machinery, your responsibilities will include: - Conducting commissioning, mandatory and warranty services, and troubleshooting issues at customer job sites for various construction machines. - Hands-on experience in troubleshooting excavators, wheel loaders, compactors, and other construction equipment segments. - Maintaining machine records, achieving the target MTTR (Mean Time To Repair), and establishing good customer relationships. - Collaborating with dealer engineers to ensure customer satisfaction. - Identifying spare parts sales and workshop repair opportunities to meet set targets. - Monitoring competitors" activities and providing updates to superiors. To be successful in this role, you should have: - A Diploma/B.Tech in Mechanical/Automobile with 6-8 years of experience in the earthmoving industry. - Proficiency in written and oral communication in English and Tamil. - Willingness to travel extensively and work on machines. - Working knowledge of computers, including MS Office.
