Description
As a CCTV Service Engineer, your role involves installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing CCTV systems at client sites. Your hands-on experience with CCTV cameras, DVR/NVR systems, and related security equipment will be essential for the successful execution of your responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Install, configure, test, and commission CCTV cameras, DVR/NVR systems, and security devices at client locations. - Conduct preventive maintenance and service visits to ensure uninterrupted operation of installed systems. - Diagnose and resolve technical issues with CCTV and associated equipment promptly. - Perform system upgrades, software updates, and replacements as required. - Provide technical support, guidance, and training to clients on system use and maintenance. - Prepare detailed service reports, documentation, and maintain accurate records of work completed. - Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely completion of installations and service requests. - Maintain inventory of spare parts, tools, and equipment. - Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all on-site activities. - Respond to emergency service calls and provide on-call support as needed. Qualifications Required: - Diploma/ITI/Bachelors degree in Electronics, Electrical, or a related field. - Minimum 5-10 years of experience in CCTV installation & servicing. - Knowledge of IP cameras, network configurations, and structured cabling. - Ability to read technical diagrams and manuals. - Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. - Willingness to travel to client sites as required. - Valid driver's license (preferred). Desirable Skills: - Experience with access control, fire alarms, or other security systems. - Basic networking knowledge (IP addressing, port forwarding, etc.). - Ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
