Job Description

NTT DATA is looking for a ServiceDesk Associate- ITIL to join the team in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. In this role, you will be responsible for answering customers" contacts via agreed channels, recording reported issues, identifying issues, applying fixes, and investigating root causes using processes and industry knowledge. You will provide technical guidance in activities associated with identifying, prioritizing, and resolving problems by telephone and e-mail. Additionally, you will screen, refer, and diagnose internal inquiries and work requests related to PC maintenance. As a ServiceDesk Associate- ITIL, you will also act as a coach and an escalation point for less experienced colleagues. Ideally, you should have a university education, preferably a technical degree or Microsoft certifications. Experience working on Microsoft Operating Systems local & Hybrid (Office and Remote) administration, and Microsoft Office family applications is a plus. Experience in providing Hybrid (Office and Remote) IT support, excellent communication, and customer service skills are also required for this position. The Senior Service Desk Associate will be responsible for advising and assisting users over the phone/chat/email in solving problems related to hardware, software, networks, and peripherals using available technology and internal processes and procedures. You will manage customer interactions, identify issues, apply fixes, and investigate root causes using internal instructions. Additionally, you will provide technical guidance in activities associated with identifying, prioritizing, and resolving problems by telephone and e-mail. The role also involves screening, referring, and diagnosing internal inquiries and work requests relating to PC maintenance. Key skills required for this role include ideally having a university education, preferably a technical degree, or Microsoft certifications. Awareness of Microsoft Operating Systems local and Hybrid (Office and Remote) administration, and Microsoft Office family applications is essential. Experience in providing Hybrid (Office and Remote) IT support is an advantage. You should have the ability to analyze and solve problems by investigating potential solutions using troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication skills, fluency in English, and flexibility to work shifts if required are also important qualities.
