Job Description

Role Overview: As a Software Development Technical Lead at Cisco, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and release of Cisco NFVIS product in a dynamic agile environment. You will work with a team that has complete ownership of CI/CD with automation, managing release collaterals, and operating in a high-touch model for key customer accounts. Your role will involve collaborating with various cross-functional teams to provide technical leadership and deliver elegant and scalable solutions to meet real customer needs. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the design, development, and release of Cisco NFVIS product using modern methodologies and open-source tools - Own the features you work on, whether it's a new feature or a bug fix, and ensure the delivery of elegant and scalable solutions - Collaborate with autonomous, multi-functional teams to tackle real problems and meet real customer needs - Work closely with cross-functional teams to design and develop new features - Provide technical leadership to fellow developers on software/system architecture - Write specification documents and unit test plans - Create estimates and schedules - Be self-driven with a background in build processes, scripting, and Python automation - Implement automation using CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git Qualifications Required: - Expert level experience in Linux, understanding of Kernel, and virtualization technologies such as qemu, libvirt, kvm - Expert level experience in C, Python, YANG, NetConf/REST API implementations - Expert level experience with networking concepts and protocols (DHCP, Bridges, VLAN, etc) - A degree in Computer Science or related field and 15+ years of experience (Note: Additional details about the company were not present in the provided job description.),
