Server and Vulnerability Engineer

As a Patching and Remediation Management Specialist, your role will involve planning, coordinating, monitoring, and supporting activities related to patching and remediation. Your key responsibilities will include: - Conducting Windows server patching using Bigfix - Performing due diligence and testing of monthly patches released by Microsoft - Remediating Windows Patch vulnerabilities and Configuration vulnerabilities - Coordinating with various Technology teams to ensure timely closure of vulnerabilities related to Windows, Linux, Database, and Backup - Providing server reboot support post patch deployment for Genesys Servers in different environments - Rebooting Lab & Production servers for all Enterprise servers on weekdays and weekends - Offering patching and restart support for Recording Servers - Deploying adhoc/zero-day vulnerability patches or fixes on Enterprise servers - Providing 24/7 support coverage - Continuously improving the Vulnerability Management program initiatives - Deploying Agents such as BigFix, Laps, Eracent, AppD, FireEye, and S1 on newly created Servers - Validating Agents on Enterprise servers and removing them from decommissioned servers - Deploying MS Patches and mitigating vulnerabilities on newly deployed servers - Timely mitigation of vulnerabilities on External facing servers - Validating S1 compliance and mitigating based on reports provided by the IT Security team - Communicating with SOC, Eracent, AppD, and IT security Team for decommissioned servers Additionally, the company emphasizes full-time employment with a rotational shift schedule.
