Server and Cloud Administrator

Responsibilities:

1. Manage and administer the on-premises server infrastructure, including installation,

configuration and maintenance of physical and virtual servers.

1. Deploy and maintain cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS, Azure or Google

Cloud, ensuring optimal performance and cost-effectiveness.

2. Troubleshoot server performance and issues to ensure maximum uptime and reliability.

3. Manage DNS, DHCP, Radius Server and other services

4. Active Directory management, FSMO Roles management, user creation, AD backup

5. Configure and maintain server security measures including firewalls, antiviruses and access

controls on servers

6. Make regular backups of server data and configuration to prevent data loss.

7. Setup and deploy updates to all machines and set up required server policies

8. Create and manage LAPS for windows local administrators

9. Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate servers and cloud systems with other

infrastructure components. Provide technical support and assistance to end users on server

and cloud-related issues.

10. Identify and Document server configuration, procedures, best practices and troubleshooting

steps for reference and training purposes.

11. Stay up-to-date with emerging threats, zero day outbreaks and take protective security

measures.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in any field with Windows Servers, NAS, SAN storage management.

2. Minimum 5 years of experience working as a server and cloud administrator or in a similar role.

3. Windows Server, Linux etc. In-depth knowledge of server operating systems.

4. Experience virtualization technology and managing online server instances.

5. Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.

6. Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail.

7. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Relevant certifications like MCSE, AWS Certified Sys Ops Administrator, etc.

2. Knowledge of scripting and automation tools (eg PowerShell, Bash, Python).

3. Previous experience in systems administration or IT support roles.

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
