SEO Specialist

As a highly experienced SEO Specialist at Talwarsons, North India's renowned luxury jewelry brand, you will be responsible for managing and leading all technical and strategic aspects of search engine optimization. This freelance hybrid role is exclusively open to candidates located in Chandigarh, Mohali, or Panchkula, with a requirement for in-person check-ins, planning meetings, and continuous collaboration with internal teams. You should have a proven track record in technical SEO, on-page optimization, local search visibility, and content-led ranking strategies, especially within high-value, category-specific industries such as jewelry, luxury retail, or e-commerce. Your role will involve a minimum of 4-6 years of hands-on SEO experience, focusing on technical SEO and local SEO implementation. Proficiency in Google Search Console, GA4, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and other industry-standard SEO tools is essential. You should possess a deep understanding of on-page SEO, including metadata optimization, keyword distribution, structured content, and mobile-first indexing. Experience in implementing and troubleshooting schema markup, canonicals, redirects, and crawl directives is required, along with familiarity with platforms like WordPress, Shopify, or other custom CMS systems. Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS for minor code adjustments or clear communication of development instructions is also necessary. As an SEO Specialist, you must have strong reporting skills to translate data into clear recommendations and insights for both marketing and management teams. Being detail-oriented, self-managed, and capable of developing a long-term SEO roadmap in collaboration with content, design, and product teams are crucial attributes for this role.
