SEO INTERN Responsibilities

· Knowledge of basic SEO strategies like keyword research, link acquisition, and on-site optimization)

· Initial audit and review of the website to review the existing performance, identify gaps and establish baseline for future

· Making SEO reports for ongoing or potential clients

· Keywords identification to prioritize keywords that are the most relevant to brand/business

· Identifying competitors and benchmarking their performances

· Technical SEO audit to enable the search engine robots to successfully crawl and index the pages for better ranking of the website. Robots.txt and sitemap creation

· Backlink audit to audit and remove poor quality links on the website

· Building new back links daily for the assigned project

· Identifying and fixing dead links

· Researching topics for blogs and article writing for submissions on other websites

· Researching and suggesting corresponding keywords for the blogs and articles

· Coming up with ideas for cohesive social media platform strategies to promote the website and blogs via different media

Qualifications:

· Strong interest in online marketing.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills.

· Detail-oriented with critical thinking skills.

· Experience with WordPress and basic HTML is a plus.
