Senior/Lead OCI Cloud Support Engineer

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced and technically proficient Senior/Lead Cloud Support Engineer with deep expertise in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and strong working knowledge of AWS and Azure. The ideal candidate will lead cloud operations, drive infrastructure automation, and support complex Oracle database migration initiatives. This role demands hands-on experience with OCI Landing Zones, security services, DevOps tools like Terraform, and Oracle DB migration support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement OCI Landing Zones with secure, scalable, and compliant configurations.
• Deploy and manage OCI services including:
• Compute (VMs, Bare Metal, Autoscaling)
• Networking (VCNs, Subnets, DRG, FastConnect, VPN)
• Storage (Block, Object, File)
• Load Balancers and Traffic Management
• Monitoring and Logging (OCI Monitoring, Logging Analytics)
• Identity and Access Management (IAM policies, compartments, groups)
• Security Services (Cloud Guard, Vault, WAF, Security Zones, KMS)
• Resource Manager and Stack Automation
• Provide operational support across AWS, Azure, and OCI environments.
• Assist in hybrid cloud integration and workload migration strategies.
• Ensure compliance, governance, and cost optimization across platforms.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform for OCI, AWS and other cloud platforms.
• Automate provisioning, configuration, and deployment of cloud resources.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using tools like OCI DevOps, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar.
• Integrate with Ansible, Python, or Shell scripting for orchestration and automation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure and support roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with OCI cloud services, including Landing Zone setup, security, and automation.
• Proven experience in site-to-site VPN configuration and hybrid cloud networking.
• Provide infrastructure support for Oracle DB migration projects, coordinating with DBA teams to ensure readiness, performance, and security of OCI environments.
• Proficiency in Terraform, Shell scripting, and DevOps tools.
• Good experience in AWS and Azure cloud platforms.

• OCI, AWS, or Azure certifications are highly desirable.
