Senior/Lead Database Developer

The Senior/Lead Database Developer will play a critical role in the design, development, and maintenance of database systems. With over 8 years of experience in SQL Server, ETL processes, API development, and a solid understanding of MongoDB and AWS, the ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and passionate about database technologies. Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and maintaining robust SQL Server databases to support various applications. You will also be tasked with implementing ETL processes for efficient data integration, developing APIs for seamless data exchange, and optimizing database performance to ensure data integrity and security. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver database solutions that align with business requirements is essential. Technical expertise in MongoDB and contribution to NoSQL database solutions, as well as utilizing AWS services for database infrastructure and cloud-based solutions, are key aspects of the role. Additionally, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing databases, staying updated on industry trends, and best practices in database development. Requirements for this role include a Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, along with 8+ years of hands-on experience in SQL Server, ETL tools, API development, MongoDB, and AWS services. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, excellent communication, and teamwork abilities are also expected. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and experience in data warehousing, cloud platforms, Agile methodologies, and managing remote teams are preferred skills. This position is located in Gandhinagar with the following schedule and shift timings: 5:30 PM to 2:30 AM or 6:30 PM to 3:30 AM.
