Job Title: Senior WordPress Developer

Work Schedule: India Night Shift with Flexibility

Shift Time: 6:30 PM 3:30 AM IST (U.S. Time Zone)

Role Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Build, customize, and maintain advanced WordPress websites, ensuring responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Convert static HTML designs into fully functional WordPress themes and templates.
• Troubleshoot and resolve

  404 errors

  and other WordPress routing issues, including:
• Fixing permalink misconfigurations.
• Restoring or recreating corrupted or missing .htaccess files.
• Managing redirects for deleted or moved content.
• Diagnosing plugin and theme conflicts.
• Correcting file and folder permission errors.
• Optimize WordPress performance (caching, queries, CDN, security patches, server tuning).
• Manage hosting environments, including cPanel, Apache, Nginx, and cloud-based hosting platforms.
• Collaborate with internal teams to identify broken links, implement redirects, and improve SEO readiness.
• Document technical processes, fixes, and best practices for internal knowledge base.
• Stay updated with WordPress core updates, PHP versions, and plugin/theme security patches.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Minimum

  5+ years of hands-on WordPress development

  experience.
• Proven expertise in

  WordPress hosting/server-side management

  and troubleshooting.
• Strong command of

  PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and REST APIs.

• Experience converting

  HTML sites into WordPress themes

  with pixel-perfect precision.
• Deep understanding of WordPress permalink structures, .htaccess rules, and resolving routing issues.
• Familiarity with debugging tools and staging environments.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to quickly identify and resolve technical issues.
• Ability to work independently during

  night shifts

  with flexible hours as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud hosting providers (AWS, DigitalOcean, Google Cloud, etc.).
• Knowledge of security hardening and performance optimization tools (e.g., Cloudflare, W3 Total Cache, WP Rocket).
• Familiarity with Git or version control systems.
• Prior work in an outsourcing or BPO environment.
