Senior WooCommerce Developer

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior WooCommerce Developer to lead the development and optimization of our WooCommerce-powered eCommerce platforms. You will be responsible for architecting and implementing high-quality, scalable, and secure solutions using WordPress and WooCommerce. Key Responsibilities: Develop, and maintain custom WooCommerce solutions and WordPress plugins/themes. Optimize website performance, speed, and security with best practices. Collaborate with designers, product managers, and developers to deliver high-quality, user-friendly eCommerce experiences. Integrate third-party APIs and payment gateways (e.g., Stripe, PayPal, etc.). Troubleshoot and debug issues in WooCommerce and WordPress environments. Lead code reviews and mentor junior developers. Maintain code documentation and follow best practices in version control and deployment. Stay current with industry trends and WooCommerce/WordPress updates. Requirements: 4+ years of professional experience with WordPress and WooCommerce development. Strong proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript (including frameworks like jQuery). Deep understanding of the WooCommerce ecosystem, including custom post types, actions/hooks, and plugin architecture. Experience with REST APIs and AJAX in a WordPress environment. Understanding of SEO, accessibility, and mobile responsiveness. Understanding of using AI tools. Familiarity with headless WordPress or WooCommerce REST API integrations.
