Senior Web Enablement Engineer

Role Overview: Addepar is seeking an engineer who is eager to have a transformative impact on user experience and developer experience. You will work at the intersection of the design system and its application across the largest UI codebase. Your role will involve implementing new user experiences, mentoring other contributors, becoming an expert in the web component design system, and working across various design and web technologies. You will be part of a vibrant group of experts shaping the future of Addepar's UI development practice. Key Responsibilities: - Implement new user experiences in Addepar's products, including dark and light mode - Mentor other contributors to achieve higher delivery velocity through the application of AI, CI improvements, and testing tools - Become an expert in Addepar's web component design system and influence its future through feedback and contribution - Work with a variety of design and web technologies such as Figma, Storybook, Tailwind, Ember, Stencil, Svelte, React, Web Component technologies, and CI / testing systems - Tackle the challenge of building a global product and team Qualifications Required: - B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or similar technical field of study (or equivalent practical experience) - 5+ years of experience as a professional software engineer - Strong knowledge of web fundamentals including TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and HTTP - Detail-oriented with a focus on quality in user experience - Eager to learn new technologies - Capacity for self-organization and direction - Preferred experience with Ember, Stencil, TailwindCSS, and Web Components - Preferred experience with UI testing systems such as GitHub Actions, visual regression testing, QUnit, and Playwright Additional Details: Addepar is a global technology and data company with a flexible workforce model and offices in multiple locations worldwide.
