Senior Warehouse Technician

The Senior Warehouse Technician role requires you to work independently to manage and organize the Production Support Department and other departments as needed, ensuring consistent communication within the team for daily activities. Your responsibilities include performing all Material Handler, Mfg., and Sr. Material Handler, Mfg. functions, having complete knowledge of the ERP System for Warehouse Management, handling Shipping & Receiving tasks, reconciling daily cycle counts, generating Inventory Reports, and problem-solving using the ERP System. In the absence of department Management, you are accountable for all actions and decisions. Adherence to Piramal Pharma Solutions Safety, Health, and Environmental policies and procedures is crucial, along with participation in other projects and duties as assigned. Your primary outcomes include ensuring the timely delivery of products to production areas according to the production plan, safe and efficient loading/unloading of trucks, and proper warehousing of incoming materials. To qualify for this role, you need a high school diploma or GED, along with previous warehouse and distribution experience. Proficiency in computer applications and completion of Material Handler, Mfg., and Sr. Material Handler, Mfg. Skills Inventory are required. Possession of a Certificate of Training in DOT, EPA & OSHA, IATA Training, and preferred forklift training is necessary. You must demonstrate the ability to work autonomously, communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, work overtime as needed, possess strong mathematical skills, and comply with all relevant laws and regulations. Teamwork is essential, requiring a positive attitude, respectfulness, approachability, open-mindedness, and adherence to the Piramal Pharma Solutions Code of Conduct. In terms of physical requirements, you should be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 60 pounds, sit, stand, talk, walk, hear, use hands, reach, and stoop, kneel, or bend. Specific vision abilities such as close vision, depth perception, and color vision are necessary, along with the ability to adjust focus. It is important not to be allergic to chemicals or biosubstances found in the production facility.
