Job Description

What You Will Do

  • Design, build, and scale VoIP platforms using Asterisk, OpenSIPS, and SIP/RTP technologies
  • Demonstrate an automation-first approach across build, deployment, and operational processes
  • Develop and maintain backend VoIP services, APIs, and integrations using .NET (C#)
  • Build, refine, and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions for automated testing and deployments
  • Support, maintain, and enhance engineering tools across Dev/Test/UAT/Prod
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to onboard new applications and telephony features
  • Troubleshoot SIP signaling, media issues, latency, and complex call flows
  • Use metrics to identify improvements (SIP response codes, call quality, latency, queue times)
  • Engineer scalable and resilient VoIP architectures leveraging AWS and IaC
  • Enhance dialplans, routing logic, IVR workflows, call analytics, and VoIP integrations
  • Provide on-call and after-hours support as required
  • Mentor and coach colleagues

QualificationsWhat We Will Need from You

  • Strong hands-on experience with Asterisk, OpenSIPS, and SIP telephony
  • Solid understanding of SIP, RTP, VoIP protocols, and troubleshooting tools (sngrep, tcpdump, Wireshark)
  • Experience working with AWS services and cloud-native principles
  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (preferably GitHub Actions)
  • Proficiency in .NET/C# development for backend telephony applications
  • Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform preferred)
  • Strong Linux systems experience and scripting abilities
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools
  • Experience with Docker or containerized workloads
  • Strong communication skills and ability to learn quickly

Bonus Points

  • Advanced .NET/C# experience in real-time communication or distributed systems
  • Experience developing or integrating REST APIs and microservices for VoIP platforms
  • Knowledge of WebRTC or media gateway technologies
  • Experience with advanced Asterisk dialplan logic, AGI/ARI, call queues, IVRs

Hands-on experience with OpenSIPS routing scripts, clustering, or load balancing
