be Senior QA Engineer Role: Senior QA Type: Permanent, Remote Working Hours: 12:00 PM 9:00 PM IST We are looking for a highly skilled Senior QA Engineer to join our dynamic team in a 100% remote working environment . This role demands expertise in manual and automation testing within agile environments, with the ability to evaluate, select, and design test frameworks using industry-leading tools. As a Senior QA Engineer, you will ensure the quality, reliability, and scalability of web applications built using React.js, Vue.js, and Angular . Key Responsibilities Perform manual testing of web applications to validate functionality, usability, and compatibility across platforms and browsers. Design, implement, and maintain automation frameworks using tools such as Cypress, Selenium, or Playwright , based on project requirements. Set up automation frameworks from scratch to enable scalable, reusable, and maintainable test suites for both UI and API testing . Develop robust automation scripts leveraging JavaScript/TypeScript, JSON, and OOP concepts . Conduct API testing (manual and automated) to ensure reliability, performance, and integration of backend services. Execute database testing and automation to validate data integrity and consistency. Integrate automation frameworks into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI) to achieve continuous testing. Collaborate in agile ceremonies (planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives), ensuring test coverage aligns with business and technical goals. Partner with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality, timely releases . Support deployment, release management, and post-production verification processes. Utilize GitHub for version control, branching strategies, and collaborative reviews. Qualifications & Skills Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field . Extensive experience in manual and automation testing of web applications in agile setups. Proven ability to evaluate tools (Cypress, Selenium, Playwright) and design suitable automation frameworks from scratch. Strong programming background in JavaScript/TypeScript with proficiency in OOP concepts . Hands-on expertise in API testing and automation practices. Experience with database testing and automation tools . Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools such as Jenkins . Proficient in GitHub for version control and collaboration. Strong problem-solving abilities, analytical skills, and attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to thrive in cross-functional, remote teams.
