Description
As a User Researcher at Cvent, you will be part of a dynamic team that is dedicated to enhancing the experience of individuals involved in planning and attending meetings and events. You will play a crucial role in conducting both evaluative and generative research to deepen our understanding of user needs and preferences. Your responsibilities will include planning and executing various research methodologies such as card sorting, tree testing, usability evaluations, and heuristics evaluations. By synthesizing and communicating research findings effectively, you will contribute to the success of our products and services. Your insights will be instrumental in supporting, challenging, and innovating Cvent's product offerings. Utilizing your expertise in research methodologies, human factors, and the user-centered design process, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to address research questions and drive product enhancements. Additionally, you will be involved in qualitative data analysis, survey design, statistical analysis, and secondary research scans to inform decision-making processes. To excel in this role, you should possess a bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field such as user experience, design, research, or business. A minimum of 4-7 years of experience in conducting user research for software/web-based products is required. Familiarity with user-centered design principles, as well as knowledge of the hospitality industry and enterprise software, will be advantageous. In addition, experience in quantitative survey programming, UX research for meeting/event planners, mobile app/web development, usability lab management, and product globalization research would be beneficial. Your ability to work collaboratively in a small team and contribute to the evolution of user research practices will be key to your success in this role.
