Job Description

Job Title: Senior QA Test Engineer Manual & Automation (UFT, SAP) Location: Bangalore (Hybrid/On-site) Experience Required: 8+ Years Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior QA Test Engineer with strong proficiency in manual and automated testing , particularly using UFT (Unified Functional Testing) . The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with SAP applications , test automation frameworks , and test management tools such as Xray , ALM/QC . This role requires a self-motivated professional who can work independently, design robust automation solutions, and contribute effectively in an Agile environment. Key Responsibilities: Develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases for web, desktop, and SAP applications. Design and implement automation frameworks from scratch using UFT. Perform functional, regression, integration , and system testing . Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure test coverage. Work with tools like Xray , HP ALM/QC for test management and defect tracking. Validate applications integrated with SAP and S/4 HANA (preferred). Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes. Ensure compliance with ISTQB /industry-standard QA methodologies. Required Skills: 8+ years of experience in manual and automated testing . Strong hands-on experience with UFT (mandatory). Experience with SAP , Web , and Desktop application testing . Familiarity with S/4 HANA is a plus. Proficient in test management tools such as Xray , HP ALM/QC . Experience in framework design and automation strategy . Sound understanding of ISTQB and Agile methodologies . Excellent analytical, communication , and problem-solving skills . Self-driven, organized, and capable of managing priorities independently. Preferred Qualifications: ISTQB certification. Experience in testing enterprise-level ERP systems. Exposure to performance or security testing is a bonus.
