Senior UI Developer

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Senior UI Developer to become a part of our front-end engineering team. As a Senior UI Developer, your primary responsibility will involve leading the creation and enhancement of user interfaces that not only possess visual appeal but also exhibit high functionality, responsiveness, and scalability. Your collaboration with product designers, backend developers, and QA team members will be crucial in crafting seamless user experiences that not only satisfy our users but also drive the business forward. Your main duties will include the development and management of top-notch, scalable, and reusable UI components and front-end applications. You will be tasked with transforming product requirements and wireframes into responsive web interfaces utilizing modern JavaScript frameworks. Working closely with UX/UI designers, you will implement designs with utmost precision and attention to detail. Furthermore, you will be responsible for optimizing application performance for speed and scalability across various browsers and devices, ensuring cross-browser compatibility, and maintaining code quality through regular reviews and adherence to development standards. In addition to your development tasks, you will play a key role in mentoring junior developers and contributing to UI/UX best practices. Integrating front-end components with RESTful APIs and microservices will also be within your scope of responsibilities. Staying abreast of the latest front-end development trends, tools, and best practices will be essential to excel in this role. Your technical skills should include expertise in core frontend technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+). Proficiency in React.js (preferred), Vue.js, or Angular, as well as state management libraries like Redux, Context API, Zustand, or Vuex, is crucial. Knowledge of CSS preprocessors like SASS/SCSS, PostCSS, and experience with UI frameworks like Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap, or Material-UI (MUI) is expected. Familiarity with modern front-end build tools, version control systems, collaboration tools, CI/CD pipelines, and frontend testing frameworks will be advantageous. To qualify for this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, with at least 8 years of experience in frontend/UI development roles. A strong portfolio or GitHub contributions showcasing complex UI implementations will be highly valued. Experience in developing scalable applications in SaaS, eCommerce, or enterprise platforms will be considered a plus. Besides technical skills, soft skills are equally important, including strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, a collaborative mindset, attention to detail, and design sensibility. You should be comfortable working in an Agile/Scrum environment and have familiarity with tools like Next.js, Nuxt.js, server-side rendering (SSR) frameworks, TypeScript, accessibility standards, and design tools like Figma, Zeplin, or Adobe XD.
