Job Description

Role Overview: As a Mid Level Transportation Planning Expert at Arcadis, you will be primarily responsible for delivering projects with a core focus on Transportation Planning Integration with Land Use. You will collaborate with a team of architects, urban designers, and planners on local and international projects of various scales. Your role will involve working with senior leadership to grow the practice, develop solutions, and implement strategies for a diverse range of projects, including city level planning, corridor planning, and site level assessments for both public and private sector clients. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and assist in the delivery of planning and design strategies for projects - Participate and lead regular project and client meetings, providing insights and counsel to advance objectives - Prepare and present high-quality graphic presentations and detailed design schemes - Identify emerging issues, propose new approaches, and monitor & manage projects - Foster external relationships with relevant departments and stakeholders, and contribute to new business initiatives - Demonstrate strong verbal, written, and graphic communication skills, ensuring professionalism and design excellence within each project Qualification Required: - Masters in Urban Planning with Transportation Specialization or Transportation Planning - Minimum of 3 years of professional experience working with Public Sector/Private Sector clients - Entrepreneurial and adaptive spirit with a focus on creativity and strong planning and design strategies - Proficient in VISSIM, VISUM/CUBE/EMME, HCM/SYNCHRO, GIS, Adobe Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, Autocad, and other complementary tools - Technical experience in managing and delivering projects such as Mobility Plans, Traffic Impact Assessments, and Travel Demand Models & Assessments - Strong attention to detail, ability to troubleshoot, and experience in working with Private Sector Clients will be a plus Additional Details: Arcadis is a global company with over 36,000 employees in more than 70 countries, dedicated to improving the quality of life by delivering sustainable design, engineering, and consultancy solutions for natural and built assets.
