We are looking for a Senior Transport Modeler (Strategic Modelling) to join our Transport & Mobility team in Mumbai to work on a diverse range of projects that cover urban development, Master planning and design and programme delivery
Develop strategic demand models for large-scale masterplans or road corridor studies which involves network update and coding using scripts, model assignment runs and extraction of results Prepare travel demand calculations for large scale masterplan and assist in analysing land-use, demographic and traffic data Conduct capacity analysis for roads and intersections using software for existing and future scenarios Prepare technical reports based on the evaluation of mitigation measures for the strategic model
Expertise in working in strategic modelling using software PTV VISUM
Proficient in using scripting and programming languages like R, Python, or any other language Candidate with analytical abilities which includes high degree of competence in MS Excel, VBA and Macros would be preferred Working knowledge of other softwares like VISSIM, Sidra, Synchro (optional) etc
