Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Develop strategic demand models for large-scale masterplans or road corridor studies, including network update, coding using scripts, model assignment runs, and extraction of results.
Prepare travel demand calculations for large-scale masterplans and assist in analyzing land-use, demographic, and traffic data.
Conduct capacity analysis for roads and intersections using relevant software for existing and future scenarios.
Prepare technical reports based on the evaluation of mitigation measures for strategic models.
Work in coordination with Transport Planners and multidisciplinary teams across India, UK, and Middle East projects.
Support master planning, district masterplans, TOD, public realm, and streetscape projects.

Skills & Experience

Expertise in strategic modelling using
PTV VISUM
.
Proficiency in scripting/programming languages:
R, Python, or others
.
Strong analytical abilities with high competence in
MS Excel, VBA, and Macros
(preferred).
Working knowledge of other modelling tools such as
VISSIM, Sidra, Synchro
(optional).
Master's degree in
Transportation Engineering / Planning
+ Bachelor's degree in
Civil Engineering
.
6+ years
of experience in traffic and demand modelling.
Experience applying
HCM procedures
in traffic studies.
Involvement in at least 2 international projects (Middle East or similar) involving complex traffic study analysis and modelling.
Strong report writing, technical documentation, and stakeholder coordination skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a global team environment.
