Job Summary:

Senior Software Development Test Automation Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable test automation frameworks.
• Create and execute automated test scripts using Selenium and other tools.
• Collaborate with developers, QA analysts, and product managers to ensure high-quality releases.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Analyse test results, identify bugs, and work with development teams to resolve issues.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and promote best practices in test automation.
• Continuously evaluate and improve automation strategies and tools.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5 to 8 years of experience in test automation.
• Strong hands-on experience with 

  Selenium WebDriver

  &

  Selenium Grid.

• Proficiency in at least one scripting language (e.g., 

  Angular JS, Express JS

  ).
• Solid understanding of 

  Java

   (Core and Advance) and object-oriented programming.
• Experience with test frameworks like TestNG, JUnit, or similar.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub CI).
• Good understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

• Automation Infra

  : Hands-on E2E web automation (Java, Selenium, Jenkins, AWS Lambda/EC2)

• Programming

  : Strong Java, Express.js, Angular.js skills

• Debugging

  : "What-if" troubleshooting in web apps with Selenium type of web automation frameworks at large scale

• System Knowledge

  : E2E understanding of microservices architecture (like ALM complexity) for targeting automation test execution.
