Senior Test Analyst

The candidate will be responsible for software quality assurance from a business perspective and will work as part of the Change Management team to assist in testing projects related to Global Fund Services. This role will involve contributing to various phases of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) including Test Planning, Design, Execution, Defect Management, and Reporting. Collaboration with Global IT, Product, and Operations senior management is essential to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products to both internal and external clients, meeting service standards effectively. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct functional test analysis, planning, design, execution, and reporting for testing assignments - Ensure accurate and timely execution of assigned testing tasks - Support Project Manager(s) in contributing to Test Plans, Test Readiness Reviews, test progress reporting, and defect management - Prepare Test Cases, Test Scripts, Test Data, and Test Coverage analysis for testing assignments - Work closely with stakeholders for functional testing preparation and execution - Analyze test results in collaboration with business, technology, and support areas - Assist in quality assurance of business requirements, solution design, and business process documents - Lead domain knowledge building and provide necessary training - Estimate and plan milestones for projects, providing UAT estimates - Identify and communicate risks and issues at the management level - Manage Defect Management Process effectively - Provide quick responsiveness to Defect and Client calls - Develop help guides, User Manuals, and MIS reports - Establish collaborative working relationships with clients, suppliers, and support areas - Participate in peer reviews of Test Approaches, Test Plans, and Test Scripts - Manage defect calls independently - Innovate solutions for challenging deliveries - Knowledge of Agile and Risk-based testing Experience, Skills & Qualifications: - 4-7 years of experience in testing lifecycle in the Investment Banking domain - Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in Securities and Fund Services domain Essential Skills: - Testing Skills - Exposure to structured software development lifecycle methodologies - Ability to transform requirements into Business Scenarios & Requirement Traceability Matrix - Proficiency in Testing Tools like HP ALM or JIRA - Experience in different types of testing such as functional, regression, black box testing - End-to-End Testing, Defect Management, and Reporting expertise Domain Competencies: - Extensive knowledge of Investment Banking Business - Understanding of trade lifecycle and financial Instruments - Knowledge of Middle Office, Fund Accounting, Pricing, Transfer Agency, Collateral & Reconciliation functions - Capability to support Product Business Analysts - Proficient in Microsoft Office tools Soft Skills: - Strong communication skills for cross-functional team collaboration - Analytical and problem-solving skills - Collaborative approach to achieving results - Effective time management and adherence to deadlines - Attention to detail and accuracy - Ability to work independently and in a team - Drive for innovation and process improvement ideas Desirable Skills: - Knowledge of Test Automation tools like Selenium, UFT, QTP - ISTQB or equivalent testing certifications - Experience in applications like Multifonds, MOM, MOTO, & Calypso - Basic knowledge of SQL Developer and Macros - Experience in Resource Management Citi is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer, encouraging all qualified applicants to apply for career opportunities.
