Senior Technician - Highways

Role Overview: You will work as a Senior Technician / Designer focusing on Transportation projects such as Highways, Aviation, Drainage, and Land Development. Your role will involve designing and CAD modeling using AutoCAD and C3D tools for various projects in the Domestic sector. Key Responsibilities: - Proficiently use AutoCAD and have a working knowledge of C3D tools. - Work on highway and aviation projects in the Domestic sector. - Preferably have experience in projects from ANZ/ASIA/Middle East/UK/USA. - Demonstrate proficiency in MS Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. - Possess good communication and IT skills. - Be a self-starter and show interest in automating CAD processes. - Have several years of experience in the engineering and design sector, particularly in Highways, Aviation, and Drainage. - Create CAD layouts for Highway, Aviation, and Drainage projects. - Familiarity with ProjectWise is advantageous. - Knowledge of BIM and drawing processes is required. - Proficiency in CAD/BIM software like AutoCAD and Navisworks. - Understand highways design hierarchy and models. - Review and check models and drawings created by others. - Ability to plan work efficiently and work well in a team. - Stay organized while handling multiple projects simultaneously. - Analyze designs, suggest improvements, and ensure compliance with regulations. - Learn and understand Federal Aviation Regulations. Qualification Required: - Diploma in Civil Draftsman. - Preferably hold a 3 yrs. Diploma in Civil Engineering or a degree. - Have 8 to 16 years of proven experience in infrastructure projects with a focus on Highways and drainage design, along with BIM/modelling skills.
