Senior Technical Test Engineer

As a Senior Technical Test Engineer at Accenture Song, you will play a crucial role in driving quality across various testing types by taking the lead in test automation initiatives. Your primary focus will be on ensuring development outcomes align with expectations through the automation of functional, regression, visual, performance, and compatibility testing processes. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and executing comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on requirements and acceptance criteria. Your expertise in agile environments, particularly with Scrum or Kanban methodologies, will be essential in analyzing and resolving testing bottlenecks effectively. Communication with cross-functional teams, documenting bugs and test results clearly, and demonstrating a proactive mindset will be key aspects of your responsibilities. With 3-5 years of experience across the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), you will leverage your skills in test automation tools such as Cypress or Playwright to build and maintain robust test automation frameworks. Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, with additional experience in Python, will be advantageous, along with a good understanding of object-oriented programming and best practices. Familiarity with BDD tools, TDD frameworks, and testing RESTful APIs will further enhance your capabilities in this role. Additionally, experience with version control systems like GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket, CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI, and build tools like Maven, Gradle, or NPM will be beneficial. Exposure to cloud platforms for testing, API testing tools, and mobile app testing frameworks will also be advantageous. Your ability to conduct cross-browser testing, create detailed test reports, work with containerization tools like Docker or Kubernetes, and have a basic understanding of security testing will round out your skill set.
